We've set up a Magnum Solutions page on Facebook. If you're on Facebook then you can become a "fan" of the page and that will be another way to keep in touch with what we are doing.

And whilst we're on a social networking roll, there's also a Twitter account (perltraining_uk) where we'll be posting news of forthcoming training courses.

Magnum's owner will be running a two-day "Introduction to Perl" course over the weekend before this year's YAPC::Europe conference. The conference this year is in Lisbon, Portugal from August 3rd to 5th and the training course is on the 1st and 2nd.

Booking is now open for the three days of Perl training that we're running in conjunction with UKUUG in November. Full details are on the public training page and you can book on the UKUUG site.

I should also point out that UKUUG are also running a one-day tutorial on RT in August. This course will be run by Jesse Vincent, the founder of Best Practical, the company who wrote RT.

Magnum's Owner, Dave Cross, will be giving two talks at YAPC::Europe 2009, which will be held at the University of Lisbon from August 3rd to 5th. Dave will give the following talks:
