YAPC Europe 2016

Magnum Solutions will be represented at YAPC Europe 2016 which is taking place in Cluj-Napoca in Romania at the end of August. Before the conference, Dave Cross will be running a one-day course on “Modern Web Development with Perl and Dancer” and during the conference, he will present a talk on “Error(s) Free Programming“.

Perl Training in London

In February 2016, Magnum Solutions will be running their annual public training courses in London in conjunction with FLOSS UK. The courses will be on 8th-12th February at the Ambassador’s Hotel on Upper Woburn Place. There will be one-day courses on “Object Oriented Programming with Moose”, “Database Programming with DBIx::Class” and “Testing Perl Programs” and a two-day course on “Modern Web Programming”. London Perl Workshop 2011

The 2011 London Perl Workshop will be on Saturday 12th November. As in most recent year’s Magnum will be sponsoring the event and Dave Cross will be running a training session. This year’s course is called “Modern Core Perl“. It will be 90 minutes long and will start at 09:30. Entrance to the course (and, indeed, the whole conference) is free.

Training in Riga

This year’s YAPC Europe in in Riga, Latvia. As in the previous few years, Dave Cross will be running a training course alongside the conference. This years course is called Introducing Modern Perl and it will be on Sunday 14th August (the day before the the conference).It’s a full day course and it costs 180€. Public Perl Training – February 2011

In conjuction with the UKUUG and O’Reilly Media, Magnum Solutions will be running some public Perl training courses in February 2011. There will be two two-day courses. Intermediate Perl will run on February 15-16th and Advanced Perl will run on February 17-18th. Both courses will be at the Royal National Hotel on Bedford Way in central London. Each course is £500 per attendee. There are discounts for UKUUG members and multiple attendees from the same organisation. Training in Pisa

This year’s YAPC::Europe conference is being held in Pisa and, as in the previous couple of years, Magnum’s owner Dave Cross will be presenting a training course in conjunction with the conference. This will be a new course entitled “Introducing Modern Perl”. It’s a one-day course covering a number of the big new projects that have changed the way that Perl is used in many places. This includes the Template Toolkit, DBIx::Class, Moose, Catalyst and Plack. The course will be running on Monday 2nd August and the conference itself runs from the 4th to 6th.
