        <![CDATA[This year's <a href="http://conferences.yapceurope.org/ye2010/">YAPC::Europe</a> conference is being held in Pisa and, as in the previous couple of years, Magnum's owner Dave Cross will be presenting a <a href="http://conferences.yapceurope.org/ye2010/training_courses.html">training course</a> in conjunction with the conference.<div><br /></div><div>This will be a new course entitled "Introducing Modern Perl". It's a one-day course covering a number of the big new projects that have changed the way that Perl is used in many places. This includes the Template Toolkit, DBIx::Class, Moose, Catalyst and Plack. The course will be running on Monday 2nd August and the conference itself runs from the 4th to 6th.</div><div><br /></div><div>The course costs&nbsp;<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(68, 68, 68); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; ">€<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: arial, helvetica, hirakakupro-w3, osaka, 'ms pgothic', sans-serif; line-height: normal; font-size: 13px; ">&nbsp;180 and you'll be able to register through the conference web site very soon.</span></span></div><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">]]>
